WHO WE ARE
Manners of the Heart is a 501(c)(3) non-profit community
organization dedicated to transforming homes, schools,
and communities through character education we call “Heart
Work.” Our programs serve children and adults
through professional instruction and application-level
learning designed to build character, strengthen
morals, and increase respectfulness. Manners are
used as the teaching tool in our programs and are
taught not as a set of rules, but as an attitude
of the heart that is self-giving, not self-serving.
For families, we offer parenting
books, parenting
conferences and seminars, etiquette
classes for children, and an at-home
curriculum for parents to strengthen the use
of manners in their home.
For schools, our programs
include an elementary
school curriculum, student
trainings, teacher
workshops, student
assemblies, and parenting
seminars to support school programs.
For communities, we
offer corporate
trainings, community-wide
events, volunteer and sponsorship opportunities,
and partnerships with
our local non-profits.
